France Football revealed on Friday (8) the points difference between Spanish midfielder Rodri and Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr. in the Ballon d’Or competition, with Rodri surpassing Vinicius by 41 points to claim the title of the world’s best player.
According to the publication, this margin is considered small, given that each vote cast by the journalists in the electoral college awarded 15 points to the top player. The full edition of France Football, including detailed voting breakdowns, will be published this Saturday (9).
Additionally, the magazine noted that five journalists left Rodri out of their Top 10 rankings, while three others did not include Vinicius Jr. among the top ten players of the year.
