Latest Recall Affects Majority of Cybertrucks in the U.S., Largest of Five This Year

The most recent recall affects the majority of Cybertrucks in the United States and is the largest of five recalls issued for the vehicle this year. In April, Tesla recalled Cybertrucks to fix the accelerator pedal’s cover, and in June, another recall addressed issues with windshield wipers and external trim.

Tesla began delivering the Cybertruck in November 2023, following a two-year delay due to production challenges and battery supply constraints. The company has not released any production or delivery figures for the vehicle.

According to Tesla, in the affected vehicles, the Cybertruck’s system may fail to complete its shutdown process before being triggered to restart, leading to a delay in the display of the rearview camera image.
